After seeing the really cool map art that Nester made, I searched on the internet and found beautiful art paper with this map print on it and made some of my own.
I wanted to keep the map intact, so I glued the paper to a thick sheet of foam and then framed it with some scrap wood I had laying around.
It was a really simple project, and the cost was less than $5 for the paper! The rest of the materials I had on hand.
super cute! my kids are obsessed with maps...i might have to try this out...

kendra, i can't leave comments on other people's blogs, sorry, i don' understand it, but your boys are so stinkin' cute, and your little guy reminds me of my little jack when he was tiny! And somehow, they remind me of 4 boys that i didn't know until they were men - i don't know how Mary did it or how you do it! And i'll try to remember where i got the map paper - it was super cheap! and i loved the mazes with boxes and straws, we're doing that one foh shizzle!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is lovely! Would you be willing to share your source for the paper?
ReplyDeletekorrie - here's the link to the website that i ordered the paper from - good luck! I would love to see how yours turns out!
